A couple of weeks ago, James started school, and now it’s the school holidays. So he and his Dad are going to Italy. They are thinking of writing a plan when they are going on the plane.
A couple of minutes later, they arrived at the airport. So they checked in, and they had booked a lounge, becuase the plane wasn’t for a while. Then the speaker said “Last call for people going on Easy Jet to Rome airport.”
So they quickly ran to the gate, and got in line just, just in time, because a few minutes later the queue started moving, and him and his Dad said “Phewww”.
On the plane, they decided to start writing a plan. They thought “first lets go to the Roman Colesseum, then lets catch a train from Rome to Pisa, and see the leaning tower of Pisa. Then we’ll go and stay with Dad’s cousin up North, in Venice. Then we should go and catch a plane to France, and then we’re going home”.

I’ve just been reading about James the cat and his adventures. It made me smile.
You were mentioned in Room 2 today. One of the children had chosen the “Cats sleep anywhere” poem and we remembered how that was one of your favourites.
Reading your stories about James made me wonder if you have heard of the book “Jenny” by Paul Gallico. It’s about a little boy who has an accident and somehow turns into a cat. It’s very long and complex, but I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it – if not right now, then sometime in the future. I’ve been reading it to Len and we’re about two-thirds of the way through it.
